Many others weren't level. We were treated well by the staff, dating site gardeners but the sites for non-owners sites were a disappointment and owners weren't all that friendly. Will definitely be going back soon. Police reviewed security tapes and later identified and arrested the suspect. Lots of beaten paths that wander off the paved trails.
Best to walk into the woods away from the road. The variety of people range from husbands to college guys and blue collar types. Most recently, I shared a booth with an older guy that didn't lock his door. We chatted although he seemed at a loss for words.
Bend Oregon Campgrounds

Tons of cock to suck, and a super friendly crowd. This is an older park with no sewer hook-ups but there is a dump station. This is a nice park in the middle of town and a great stop after being in the wilderness for some time. By far, one of our favorite parks!
Super convenient to the highway, though noticed our my walk through the campground that the spots closer to the highway are a bit bigger, but were fairly noisy with traffic hum. Plenty of Fish
With an elevation of feet, this area is great for Summer getaways. Last time I was there got my ass pounded by old man that was hung! There are actually two different campgrounds in this state park, Main Camp, where we stayed, and Jasper.

City of Bend
There are over miles of mountain biking trails just within Bend, and plenty more in the miles surrounding. WiFi is available in the quaint town square in Bend. Bend is close by with shopping mall. If you want to get a closer look at the starry skies, stop into Sunriver, home of the Oregon Observatory.

Walk the trail to the end. Drive up about one to one and a half miles and you will see a big gravel like parking area on your left and a small dirt road on your right. Don't have a Hipcamp account? Only one was available since it was spring break. Be discreet during the daytime and pack out your garbage.

The disc golf course, driving range, girl and archery range were in serious need of maintenance. Limited season due to snow. The clerks are rude and arrogant.

Campgrounds & RV Parks in Bend & Central Oregon
One of the best places in Oregon, now gone. Located in central Oregon there's lots of dirt and dust unless the area is irrigated. Our site was quite close to our neighbors, and the hookups are such that if you want to sit at your table, you'll be right next to your neighbors sewer connection. We had it to ourselves and really enjoyed it.
They have a disc golf course, a driving range and an archery range as well. It can be a hit or miss place, depending on the day of the week. Not too far from Prineville is the Haystack Campground.
We did not use the bathrooms or laundry so I have no opinion about that. Plus, the pond sprung a leak ground rodent of some sort and they had to turn on the irrigation systems to lower the level of the pond. Seems you can get sucked off or suck people off whenever you go. Sites are mostly level asphalt with adjacent dirt areas with picnic table and fire ring. Getting into many of these sites is a challenge for large rigs because boulders and trees have been placed right on the entrances severely restricting access.
The park offers a refreshing, clean and modern experience. Clackamas Lake Campground. Roll out your sleeping bag at Tumalo State Park. The manager just seemed to be unaware of what was going on in the campground. First come first serve, but sites usually available.
This is a mountain road so drive safely as there are lots of sharp turns. Stroll to the paved path and wait. You will see cars parked you can drive all around the quarry. Some fun to be had in the arcades, but generally it is an older crowd.
Summer in Bend
Willamette National Forest. From Pacific Hwy take either Circle Blvd. The showers in B loop are terrific, with unlimited hot water and really good heaters.
Research and explore, and you should have no trouble finding the best campsites. Picnic tables, vault toilets, fire rings, and boat launch. The grounds are huge with lots of places to hike and walk around.
